Quality tooling begins with a quality part design and specifications. Our experienced team deploys the strategy of Early Supplier Involvement to ensure the product is designed to meet all the required and desired standards.

We have partnered ourselves with local and Asian tooling suppliers to optimize tool manufacturing expertise directly suited for the products. This "best fit" approach helps to ensure the right mold for the product criteria, saving time and cost. We have full time Tooling Program Management, serving both U.S. and Southeast China, utilizing our "General Mold Construction Guidelines" and PPM reporting methodology.

Additionally, we utilize local suppliers to support engineering changes and repairs to existing tooling.

Rapid Prototypes / Short Run Molds

Rapid tooling supports quick product turn around. This is a great option for low volume products as well.

Some benifits include:

  • Short lead times. ( Have product in as little as 15 days, more typically 3-5 weeks, depending on the complexity of the part(s).)
  • Lower cost. (Typically, the tools cost are in the $1,000-$9,000 range.)
